Editor’s Note

The big news this past month was the acquisition of Pay Per Click Universe by iNET Interactive, as part of their general acquisition of the Search Marketing Standard magazine property. Readers likely will not notice any immediate difference in the site or this newsletter, as existing staff will continue. We’re looking forward to working with the people at iNET, some of whom have been involved with PPCUniverse over the past few years.

The Fall issue of Search Marketing Standard magazine has been mailed and should be arriving shortly, if not already in your mailboxes. But, in many ways, Marissa Mayer has become the public face of Google, which was incorporated 10 years ago today. PBJS was founded in 2003 by a handful of partners that included a pair of Microsoft executives. CEO Bob Bejan worked at the software giant from 1996 to 2002 and helped launch the MSN network.
