Update on Search Marketing Standard Magazine

As promised in February’s issue, here’s an update from publisher Boris Mordkovich on the progress of MordComm’s newest venture – the Search Marketing Standard magazine.

“We are pleased to announce that we have just launched the first and only print magazine dedicated to covering search marketing industry – Search Marketing Standard. It covers pay per click advertising, search engine optimization, web analytics, click fraud, local and contextual search, and other search-related topics. Each publication features articles and advice from leading experts in the field, interviews with the who’s-who of the industry, reviews of the most popular tools and services, latest news and trends, and much more.

Search Marketing Standard is a quarterly magazine with the debut Summer issue coming out in May. Yearly subscription to the magazine starts at just $10 for four issues for US-based readers and $20 for international subscribers (shipping included). As a limited-time promotion, we are offering a FREE 1-year subscription to all US-based subscribers. This offer has been extended until April 30th – clickhere to sign up today absolutely free (no credit card required).

While high shipping costs do not allow us to offer the same deal to International clients, we still encourage to register for a nominal fee of $20 for an entire year (just $5 per issue!).

For more information, please visit our website at If you have any questions or comments, you can eMail me directly at [email protected].”

Featured Review – PPC Search Engine or Tool

VisitorVille.comA website analytics tool that helps you analyze your PPC ad campaigns in a very different way than any other is VisitorVille takes your website and represents it visually on your monitor as if it were a city, where each building represents a specific page on your site. Using a variety of other 3-D images, such as avatars representing individual visitors (together with indicating factors regarding whether they are a return visitor, a user who has converted in the past, a first-time visitor, etc.), buses to represent the search engines tracked that deliver the visitors to your pages, other specialty vehicles of your choosing to transport visitors from page to page, etc., VisitorVille is a novel approach towards website statistics that is certainly more interesting than statistical reports (although those are also available) and which enables you to see your “town” grow as you expand or try out different ad campaigns. “Where do you go to find out who the top pay per click search engines are, catch up with news on the new minimum bid prices coming into effect at FindWhat, or address your concerns with click fraud? I heartily recommend pay per click forums – newsgroups built on the classic 1980′s Bulletin Board Messaging System (BBS) format, where members may leave original messages (posts) and responses (replies) to other members’ messages. Forums are great places, as they let everyone ask questions, showcase news items, and easily allow for sharing of experiences and expertise. Continue reading this article here.
