This robust tool offers clickstream tracking and analysis which is demonstrated in their demo on the website that tracks current visitors to the site, their actions on the site, and a profile of each one that includes the referring page and the search term used if a search engine. Log files are not used to put together analysis and reports. A product out of the Netherlands, Opentracker has been in business since 2003 and recently came out with an updated version of their tool that expands the number of available languages, as well as other improvements and changes. By using tracking code on your web pages, you can access an incredible amount of information on visitors to your site, as well as view a number of reports aggregating and analyzing the data for specific parameters. Unlike other programs, Opentracker offers a limited number of reports and, although the choices cover what most webmasters would like to see, a few more options might be welcome. There is a fair amount of information on the site’s support page not just on Opentracker, but also articles about web statistics and analysis in general, for those relatively new to the market. There is also an active forum associated with the website and product. Charities and non-profits may be eligible for free services from Opentracker. A number of prominent international organizations already use the tool for their websites.
